CCTC professor featured in Sumter Artists Guild Winners Show
Well-known to those around the Central Carolina campus, long-time photographer and full-time professor Joe Valcourt teaches Speech and Theater. Now, a wider audience will get the chance to appreciate Valcourt's photographic work. Valcourt is one of the artists featured in the Sumter Artists Guild Winners Show at the Sumter Gallery of Art.
Valcourt's photo, entitled "Drifting on Altair," won an honorable mention prize in the recent competition. This work, along with two other of his photos will hang in the gallery with the other winning works. Valcourt pointed out that while he often digitally enhances his photos, all of these photos are natural.
